Value questions

1. In art value is very important because it makes up a large part of art if you know what the value is of something without touching it but just looking at it. The value in art is knowing whether a painting was drawn on a canvas or just on paper when you look at a art sculpture you can tell whether it was made of plastic or metal. These values are very important because you are able to understand true art.
2. Value is related to texture because when you look at an object you know the value by seeing what it looks like it is made of. When you look at an object you can see the texture by knowing for example the difference between metal and plastic. Yes, value and texture are very related in art.

-geometric
4. In art to build value means to add means to add different colors and change the darkness of your shading. To build on your artwork to give it more value. Changing the colors and texture of your art to build to make it the perfect piece of art.
5. We can best see value by squinting when you look at the object. When you look at it this way you can see the true value in the texture and movement.

Value

Value is the way that you can tell the texture of an object by looking at it. When you look at an object you can tell by the shape and the texture of the object. Each object moves in different ways and has different looks. Value is something that we all have been taught. We can all tell what material an object is without touching it even though there aren't any lines to show the value you can still tell by what we have been taught.

Geometric and Organic lines and shapes

This is my picture of geometric and organic lines and shapes. On the geometric side I used several patterns of color and shape. On the organic side I used curved lines in all directions. The organic side does not have any pattern since it is creative. I created a border to go around my picture. It has a pattern of red and gray.

Organic and Geometric shapes

There are different examples of geometric and implied lines. Geometric lines are very precise and drawn exact every time. Organic shapes on the other hand are very smooth and curved. To make organic shapes you have to be very creative and imaginative.

Elements of Art

In art the elements are the things that you need for creating art. Creativity would be al large part of the elements. To create master pieces it takes the creativity to mix colors and shapes together. Line and shape are very much related. A shape is made of lines because it takes a line to create any shape. Shape and form are also related to eachother because a shape is also a form when you put them together.

Line

Artists use line to lead your eyes to a work of art. In the work of art it will use types of line. Everything there is uses a type of line. The different forms of line are vertical, horizontal, diagonal, curved or zigzag lines.
Dimension is the amount of space that an object takes up in one direction. Artists can create line by just drawing a face since that is one of the types of lines. A flower also uses line because it has curved lines.
A line that shows the outer edges of a shape or drawing is an outline. An implied line is a series of points that the viewer's eyes automatically connect. A row of computers can also be referred to as a line of computers.
