In a way, you are right--I mean "media" are channels of communication. TV and radio are "popular media" but artists typically use more traditional media...like ink, paint, or graphite to share an idea with a viewer. Remember to note the difference between a medium (like paint) and a tool (like the paint BRUSH)...that's a fine point!
